Pat is a certified RPM Instructor with Les Mills International and has been teaching group fitness at Fusion Fitness since 2004. Pat’s classes are high energy, sweat-soaked extravaganzas with lots of positive attitude. When Pat was immersed in the initial intensive certification process with Les Mills,the trainer coined a word which Pat took to heart. He said that instructors should consider themselves “exertainers”. Pat injects this feeling into every class he teaches. Pat has been into organized sports and outdoor activitieshis entire life. Pat played college baseball and continuesto play competitive softball on multiple teams. Lisa Alban – Group Fitness Instructor
Lisa Alban is a vinyasa flow yoga teacher who has been practicing these life changing asana’s now for 11 years. Lisa received her certification from Baron Baptiste, author of the books “Journey into power” and “40 Days to Personal Revolution”. She also has attended numerous workshops with Shiva Rea, Ana Forrest, Seane Corn, Rodney Yee, and John Friend. Her extensive background in physiology and kineseology, and her time spent as a personal trainer and massage therapist for the past 15 years, coupled with her own spiritual curiosity, has collided in her yoga practice. Her goal as a yoga instructor is to enable each and every person to begin to FEEL, to “come to their senses,” and to be able to live life fully from the inside out. Join Lisa Alban for a fun and lively Vinyasa yoga practice on Monday and Wednesday’s at 5:30 pm and learn how to maintain focus and fluidity, strength and stamina, gentleness, and acceptance, and discover the ever-expanding edge of your own persoanl growth. Vinyasa is a very physical yoga practice linking breath and movement, awareness and alignment, strength and flexibility, and your practice with your daily life. We will explore an array of asanas (poses) linked together in a flow that builds internal heat in order to cleanse your body and your refresh your mind. Amy has one fitness philosophy – GET MOVING! Her fun and no nonsense approach to working out invites all levels of exercisers to achieve their personal best. Certified through AFAA, Les Mills and The Pilates Method Alliance, Amy has trained with the Arthritis Foundation and is currently completing her personal training certificate with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Look for Amy teaching BODYPUMP, RPM, Cardio Fusion and Pilates. When she’s not at the gym, Amy volunteers in the community and loves her life as a soccer mom to her husband Dan and her four children.

Derick has been an outdoor enthusiast his entire life. As a child he enjoyed baseball, soccer, water skiing and camping with his family. For the past five yeras, Derick has enjoyed jet-skiing, mountain biking, running, skiing and becoming a personal trainer. He likes to motivate people who are committed to working hard and keeping a positive attitude. Derick’s passion is in teaching RPM classes and group fitness where he excels in encouraging people to surpass their own expectations. In the coming year, Derick has set his sights on maintaining his rigorous training regimen and completing his first triathlon.

Kristine Tietsort teaches cycle, BODYPUMP and Muscle Conditioning at Fusion Fitness. She has been at Fusion since the grand opening and loves the members and the staff. She is Certified through AFAA, IFA and Kesier (cycle) and Les Mills International. She has been teaching for 15 years and loves helping people get fit and fall in love with exercise. Her hobbies are running, tennis, reading, movies and knitting. She’ll be taking up scuba diving shortly!. her favorite saying: THINK STRONG

Phil has been involved in fitness and exercise his entire life, from riding his bike at the age of five to basketball, weight training,and track & field in both grade and high school. In 1988 he moved from Missouri to Santa Rosa, where he parked his VW van and began to use his bicycle as his sole means of transportation. At that point fitness became more than an activity; indeed, it is now a lifestyle as well a physical and spiritual necessity in his life. He began practicing yoga in 2000 and began weight training in earnest in 2003, training with a California Bodybuilding Champion for two years. Phil is now a NESTA certified personal trainer, and shares his unique combination of practices in the Les Mills RPM cycling class. He is always willing to share his experiences, exchange ideas, and give encouragement when needed. “My goal is to show by example how to find the strength within oneselves to strive for excellence, and set and accomplish goals never thought possible.

Gay teaches our most introductory yoga classes as well as yoga at levels 2 and 3. Gay was a modern dancer in her younger life and later, an art museum director. In addition to her daily yoga practice, she enjoys long walks in nature, finding ways to live greener and watching good cinema. Gay was certified as a yoga teacher at the Ananda Seva Yoga and Meditation Center and has been teaching yoga for two years.
